Samson Tug and Barge
Services   ::   Alaska Interport Connections
Trucking
Samson can move your cargo beyond our ports of call in Seattle and Alaska. If you need to move cargo in to the interior, we can arrange to have your shipment transported via truck to any destination along the road system. In Seattle, we can provide you with local trucking or arrange to have your cargo delivered to where ever you need it to be delivered.

Oilfield Access
Samson is the only Common Carrier with scheduled, year-round barge service to the port of Valdez, the northern most ice-free port in the U.S., with access to the North Slope and Fairbanks. For more information, please take a look at our video. See Video. (Coming Soon!)

Export Connections
Together with other shipping partners, we provide our customers the ability to ship from Alaska to anywhere in the world on a through bill-of-lading. In addition, we offer trucking services in Seattle as well as connecting carrier agreements to transport cargo around the world.

Interport Connections
Shippers can move their freight between any of the ports we serve, depending on schedule and routing. Cargo from the interior of Alaska, moving to Kodiak or further out the chain, can move directly through Seward, out to the chain, without having to first travel to Seattle. Samson is the only carrier that can directly tie you from Southeast Alaska to the chain.
