Full Load Containerized Refrigerated Cargo
40 foot Standard and Hi Cube Refrigerated Containers
By utilizing our 40 foot refrigerated containers, our customers can transport frozen or hearty chill shipments directly from suppliers to all of Samson's Alaska destinations.
Our refrigerated containers are used to help support our Alaska seafood processing customers. Shipments of Alaskan salmon, crab, halibut, pollock and cod are shipped from all of our Alaskan ports to our Seattle terminal.
Keep from Freezing
KFF service is available during the Winter months. When requested a small heater is placed at the door of the container to keep product from freezing.
Barges are equipped with remote monitoring systems, plus on board checks are made at each stop by an on-board specialist to ensure your cargo's temperatures are maintained.
Door to Door Less than Truckload (LTL)
Samson Tug and Barge can arrange to pick up less-than-truckload shipments whether it is from across town, or across country, and delivery to the customer's door in most ports is included in the ocean rate. We can ship any size package, large or small.
Break-Bulk and Heavy Lift
Our 300+ foot flat deck barges allow ample capacity for over-sized cargo. If you can get it to the Seattle dock, we can handle it!
